Chickpea hummus – simple, nutritious, and full of Mediterranean flavors. Tender chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, good olive oil, and spices combine into a creamy spread that pairs perfectly with vegetables, bread, or crackers.

This recipe was shared with us by Julia from a Sevillanas dance group in Ciudad Real when we were discussing how store-bought hummuses often contain too many additives and preservatives. Sometimes the best recipes come from simple conversations and real people.
