Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO "Affinato" is produced in Modena, Italy, following centuries-old traditions. This exceptional vinegar is made exclusively from cooked must of Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes, without any additional ingredients.
The aging process lasts at least 12 years. During this time, the vinegar is transferred annually into different types of wooden barrels – oak, chestnut, cherry, ash, mulberry, and juniper. Each wood imparts its unique aroma and flavor notes, while natural evaporation allows the vinegar to become thicker, richer, and even more complex.
"Acetaia Leonardi" is a family-run acetato from Modena, valued for its adherence to tradition, quality, and authenticity. Each bottle is inspected and certified by the official Modena Consortium, which grants the PDO authenticity mark.
